Edward F. Snow

Mr. Snow has nearly 40 years of legal experience, practicing in both civil and criminal law.  He has extensive experience in state and federal courts as well as appearances before the Social Security Administration, Workers’ Compensation Administration, and the New Mexico Medical Legal Review Commission. Mr. Snow has tried eighteen jury trials and over one hundred bench trials, arbitrations, and adjudicatory hearings.  He has appellate experience before the New Mexico Court of Appeals, the New Mexico Supreme Court, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Snow was a long-time partner at the Fine Law Firm, a successful, AV® rated plaintiff’s practice, before joining our firm.  He also served as a felony attorney at the New Mexico Public Defender’s Office in the Second Judicial District and was a supervisor (Metropolitan Division) at the New Mexico Public Defender’s Office in Albuquerque.  He began his career as a staff attorney at the New Mexico Court of Appeals, with a focus on criminal, domestic relations, children’s court, and workers’ compensation cases.

Mr. Snow is currently practicing as an insurance defense attorney, responsible for all stages of tort litigation in state and federal court jurisdictions.  Representative cases include automobile litigation, insurance coverage, employment and civil rights, premises liability, product liability, and construction defects.  He is responsible for developing client relationships, drafting pleadings, discovery, research, depositions, attending hearings, and participating in all other aspects of case resolution, including arbitrations and trial.

Mr. Snow earned his J.D. from The University of New Mexico in 1983, serving as a member of the National Moot Court Team and the New Mexico Law Review.  Mr. Snow was recommended for a Metropolitan Court Judgeship by the Judicial Nominating Commission.  He is a member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association and the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association and is former volunteer for the New Mexico Bar Association’s domestic violence hotline. He has been a frequent speaker at CLE courses on various topics.
